The 50th anniversary of the graduation of the High School Affiliated to Tsinghua University was held

On October 20, the 50th anniversary Celebration of graduation of Grade 60 students of Tsinghua Affiliated High School with the theme of "Gratitude · Remembrance · 50th Anniversary of the Attached High School" was held in the multi-function Hall on the first floor of the Experimental Building of Tsinghua Affiliated High School。Mr. Xie Juzhao, vice president of Tsinghua High School, as well as some old teachers and senior 60 alumni of Tsinghua High School attended the conference。Zhou Wenye, a former high school alumnus of Class 606, presided over the meeting。

Vice President Xie Juzhao first delivered a speech, expressing his sincere greetings and best wishes to the alumni and old teachers, and introduced the development and changes of Tsinghua High School in recent years, and also presented a copy of their student status card to the alumni representatives as a souvenir。Veteran teachers such as Kong Lingyi, Zhang Xiuzhen, Xie Defang, Feng Yuzhong, Guo Dazheng, Zhang Nengguang, Zhou Hongjun and Chen Youqi also delivered speeches。Alumnus Liu Jianqiu presented her Chinese painting "Peony Map" to her Alma mater;Class 606 presents a poem "All the Students of Class 606" to their Alma mater.。Subsequently, the alumni introduced themselves one by one to enhance mutual understanding and communication。

Finally, everyone took a group photo in front of the main building. After taking a group photo, everyone went to the cafeteria of Affiliated High School to eat, and once again experienced the feeling of life in Affiliated High School。After the dinner, the students went back to the classroom to relive their student days, and they all said that the High school helped them lay the most important foundation in life and left them the best memories。

The predecessor of the High School Attached to Tsinghua University was "Chengzhi School", which was founded in 1915.。1952 Chengzhi School merged with the Affiliated School of Yenching University and was renamed "Tsinghua University Affiliated High School".In 1958, Tsinghua "Workers' and Peasants' Accelerated Middle School" was also incorporated;In 1960, the first high school was expanded and the current name was established, and since then it has become a complete secondary school。Therefore, senior 60 is the first high school graduates of Tsinghua Affiliated High School, creating a brilliant history of Tsinghua Affiliated High School, among them emerged many outstanding alumni, such as General Wang Preservation who is engaged in military science research。Through this conference, teachers and students met, classmates met, exchanged greetings, talked with old leaders and old teachers, visited the new Affiliated High School, felt the changes of the Alma mater in 50 years, and achieved the purpose of "gratitude, remembrance and 50th anniversary of the Affiliated High School".
